This recall is being undertaken with the knowledge of the FDA.

Rite Aid has initiated a voluntary recall of approximately 560 16 oz. pints of Mint ‘n Chip ice cream distributed under the Thrifty brand name. These pints contain pistachio ice cream with pistachios; however, the ice cream was inadvertently placed in containers labeled as being Mint ‘n Chip.
