January 21, 2013 – Knott’s Fine Foods, Inc. of Paris, TN, is voluntarily recalling its 3 ounce Chicken Salad Sandwiches with an expiration date of 1\/29\/13 and earlier because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes<\/em>, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
